We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

Virtualization Specialist

Responsibilities:

- Oversee capacity planning and performance management of the internal cloud environment to ensure efficient resource usage and system reliability
- Design and implement infrastructure automation solutions using tools such as vRealize Automation, Ansible, and others
- Diagnose and resolve performance-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain platform stability
- Work closely with various teams to deliver new infrastructure components and platform features
- Provide technical support and respond to customer inquiries as needed

Requirements:

- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting VMware environments, including expertise in vSphere, vCenter, vROPS, NSX, and SAN storage solutions
- Strong background in automation and development tools such as vRealize Automation, Ansible, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, etc
- Proven experience in capacity planning and performance optimization in virtualized infrastructures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid cloud architectures
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
- Experience with VMware migration strategies is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
